Yakara RCS Messaging - Terms of Use
1. About these terms
These terms apply when you receive or reply to RCS messages from Yakara's verified agent, run by Yakara Ltd (registered in Scotland, SC156619, 2 Anderson Place, Edinburgh, EH6 5NP). By opting in or replying, you accept them and our Privacy Policy.
2. Our RCS agent
Our agent shows as "Yakara" with our logo and a verified badge. We use it for demonstration purposes only.
You must be 18 or over and entitled to use the mobile number. RCS itself is provided by your device, network and Google, under their own terms.
3. Opting in
We only message people who have agreed, for example by completing our opt in form. We confirm your opt-in by message. We never sell or share your number for others' marketing.
4. Opting out and help

Opting out is free and takes effect straight away. You can also email support@yakara.com.
5. Our messages
We send up to 20 messages a month, never between 8pm and 8am. Messages may include rich cards, images, buttons and links. Tapping a button only does what it shows. Some replies are automated, and linked third-party sites are not our responsibility.
6. Payments
This is a demonstration service. Some messages may include a demonstration secure payment link or wallet button. No Payments will be taken and we will provide dummy card details for demonstration purposes only. If a link looks suspicious, don't use it and contact us.
7. Costs
Our messages are free to receive, but your network's data charges may apply. If RCS isn't available, we may send an SMS instead; the same commands and terms apply.
8. Using the service
We will not send unlawful, abusive or harmful content, spam or malware, or sensitive details such as health information or card numbers. We may block numbers that misuse the service.
9. Your data
We process your number, consent record, replies and message interactions to send messages you've agreed to and improve our service, in line with UK GDPR and PECR. We share data only with service providers such as our messaging partner, Google.

10. Other terms
Delivery depends on your device and network, and we may change or stop the service. We aren't liable for events outside our control, but nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited or affects your statutory rights. We may update these terms at yakara.com/rcs-terms and will tell you of significant changes. Scottish Law applies to these terms of use.
